Maun Motors' Commercial Vehicle Hire depot is situated conveniently just 2 miles off Juction 28 of the M1 and within 500m of the A38 dual-carriageway.
The rental depot is easily reached from Nottingham, Chesterfield, Derby, Mansfield, Alfreton, Sheffield, the West Midlands and South Yorkshire.
The Self Drive Hire depot at South Normanton, near Hilcote, is right on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.
We operate a large hire fleet, running over 800 vehicles of varying specifications to cover all aspects of the commercial vehicle hire market, with many specialist vehicles available;
including crane lorries, skip lorries, "muckaway" tipper grabs, brick grabs, skip trucks, fridge vans, small vans, panel vans, box vans, curtain siders,
luton box vans, dropwell luton vans, sleeper cabs, pick ups, dropsides, minibuses, tractor units, refrigerated vans and now we also have the UK's largest hire fleet of Moffett truck-mountable
forklift trucks. We have vans ranging from car-derived size up to 6.5 tonnes, whilst our HGV truck hire fleet ranges between 7.5 tonne and 32 tonne.
We use quality brands, such as Ford, Iveco, Daf, Mercedes, HMF loaders and JCP & Ken Rosebury bodies. All body designs are catered for, be it minibus, panel van, small van, long wheelbase, short wheelbase, high or low roof, chassis-cab or specialist application. Unlike Budget, Ryder and other commercial vehicle hire and rental firms, we are still a family business, owned to the present day by the original founders from 1972. |
